FULafia Partners with Nasarawa Health Ministry and WHO to Commemorate World Health Day 2026

The Nasarawa State Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO), commemorated World Health Day 2026 with the theme: “Together for Health, Stand with Science.”

Some activities such as health walk from Lafia Local Government Area Secretariat, situated along Makurdi Road, Lafia, to the Permanent Site Campus of the Federal University of Lafia were observed to mark the day.

A sensitisation programme that targeted students and staff of the College of Medicine, FULafia, and Faculty of Physical and Life Sciences also took place at MIS Multipurpose Hall.

The events were successfully held on April 7, 2026.
