FULafia public notice on admission, contract, and employment
The attention of the Management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has been drawn to the activities of some fraudsters who used to collect cash from unsuspecting persons promising to secure admission, contract, and employment for them in the University.
The activities of such fraudulent people, no doubt, violate procedures for award of admission, contract and employment in any decent institution of learning such as ours and, in particular, run counter to the core values of the Federal University of Lafia, namely, Integrity, Innovation and Excellence which the Management of the University uncompromisingly upholds.
The University, under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has zero-tolerance for corrupt practices and administrative malfeasance and will not condone any act capable of tarnishing its reputation.
Admission, contract and employment into the Federal University of Lafia are awarded only after applicants are found suitable and meet the established guidelines, rules and regulations.
Fraudsters are, therefore, warned to desist from collecting cash from unsuspecting persons with fake promises to give them admission, contract and employment in the University.
Meanwhile, as the University is working with the security agencies to identify and arrest those involved in such illegal activities, members of the public are advised to report activities of any suspicious persons or groups to the authorities.
Be Warned!

Abubakar Ibrahim
