FULafia Vice-Chancellor Presents Official Vehicle to Newly Appointed Bursar

 The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Mohammed Isa Kida, has officially presented a new operational vehicle to the institution's newly appointed Bursar, Mr. Ovye James Aboki. 

The presentation ceremony, held at the university campus, serves as a strategic institutional support measure. It is designed to facilitate mobility and ensure the smooth administrative execution of financial duties as the new Bursar officially takes control of the office. 

The presentation follows the formal approval of Mr. Aboki’s appointment by the FULafia Governing Council during its 12th Extra-Ordinary Meeting, chaired by Dr. Amos Gizo on behalf of Ambassador-designate Mrs. Lola Fibisola Akande. 

Administrative Synergy: Alongside the Bursar, the university also announced the appointment of Professor Abdulrazaq Baba Abdulrahman as the new University Librarian, with his tenure commencing in July 2026. 

Professor Kida emphasized that equipping principal officers with critical working tools is vital to achieving the institution’s core performance targets. He noted that the Bursary department is pivotal to the university's fiscal discipline, accountability, and infrastructural growth goals.

In response, the new Bursar expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and the Governing Council for the logistical support, pledging to uphold absolute transparency, maximize resources, and implement digital financial management innovations to support the current university leadership.
