FULokoja to Inaugurate International Centre for Climate Change, Floods, and Environmental Sustainability (I3CFES)

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, has announced the official inauguration of the International Centre for Climate Change, Floods, and Environmental Sustainability (I3CFES).

The landmark event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Engr. Joseph & Enesi Makoju Memorial Lecture Theatre, FUL.

The Centre is designed to provide a multidisciplinary platform for research, innovation, and policy engagement in tackling the growing challenges of climate change, flooding, and environmental sustainability in Nigeria and beyond.

Members of the university community and the general public are invited to grace the event.
