FUPRE Opens 2026 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening, Announces Requirements and Registration Guidelines

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for admission into the 2026/2027 academic session.

The institution is inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various undergraduate programmes across its colleges.

Key Dates and Fees

• Commencement date: Monday, 25th May, 2026
• Closing date: Friday, 17th July, 2026
• Screening fee: ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only)

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
• Candidates must have selected FUPRE as first choice institution or completed a change of institution to FUPRE on the JAMB portal.
• Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects in SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age by 30th September, 2026.

Direct Entry Requirements

• FUPRE accepts recognized Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees accredited by NUC, NBTE, or NCCE.
• However, Direct Entry is not available for the following courses:
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Petroleum Information Management
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Procurement Management
  • Microbiology
  • Biochemistry
  • Petroleum Chemistry

• Click “Generate Invoice” for Post-UTME payment (₦2,000)
• Enter JAMB Registration Number to begin application
• Use a secure password for future access to screening and admission status
• Ensure active phone number used in JAMB registration is available
• Preview all details carefully before submission
• Click “SUBMIT” and print confirmation page
