FUT Babura and CAR-NASRDA Ink Pact to Foster Academic Cooperation

A landmark agreement was signed between the Federal University of Technology Babura and the Centre for Atmospheric Research, National Space Research and Development Agency (CAR-NASRDA), Anyigba, on Wednesday, 19th November, 2025 at the office of the Vice Chancellor, paving the way for enhanced collaboration in teaching, research, and community service.

The MoU signing ceremony was formalized with the signatures of Prof. Sabo Ibrahim Birnin Kudu, Vice-Chancellor of FUT Babura, and Dr. Ibrahim Yakubu Tudunwada

Director/CEO of CAR-NASRDA , witnessed by the Registrar Fatima Binta Mohammed mni and Dr. Muawiya Sani Ass. Chief Scientific Officer/Head of SWAP Laboratory Bayero University Kano, at the Vice-Chancellor's office.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sabo Ibrahim Birnin Kudu expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating that it would open new avenues for staff and students to engage in cutting-edge research and community development projects.

The collaboration is expected to pave the way for joint research projects, staff and student exchange programs, and the development of innovative solutions to address pressing challenges in the region.

The ceremony was attended by University principal officers, Deans, and Directors, who witnessed the formalization of the MoU between FUT Babura and CAR-NASRDA.
