The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna) has announced its 120th Inaugural Lecture, inviting members of the university community and the general public to participate in this academic event.

The lecture, titled “Waste Plastics’ Environmental Pollution: Proffering a Holistic Solution Using Biodegradable Polymer Blends and Composites,” will be delivered by Professor Stephen Shaibu Ochigbo, a distinguished Professor of Polymer Chemistry. Professor Ochigbo earned his B.Sc. from the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), M.Sc. from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and Ph.D. from FUT Minna.

The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta, and promises to explore innovative, sustainable approaches to addressing environmental pollution caused by plastics.
