FUTES-IYIN Hosts FUOYE Delegation as Bursar Appointment Spurs Institutional Collaboration
The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN), has received a delegation from the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) Bursary Department in a visit that underscored growing inter-institutional collaboration and recognition of professional excellence.

The delegation, led by FUOYE Bursar, Dr. Adebolanle Debo-Ajagunna, paid a courtesy visit to the pioneer Bursar of FUTES-IYIN, Mrs. Adeniyi Rachael, to congratulate her on her appointment and explore avenues for collaboration in financial management, administrative processes, and best practices within the bursary profession.
Dr. Debo-Ajagunna said the visit was also in recognition of Mrs. Adeniyi’s impactful service at FUOYE, where she previously held key strategic roles and contributed significantly to the development of the bursary unit. She noted that her tenure was marked by professionalism, diligence, and a results-driven approach that earned her widespread respect.
Describing her as an institutional asset, she added that the visit reflects the enduring value of excellence and commitment to duty, noting that such qualities remain critical to achieving lasting impact in public service.
During the visit, the Registrar of FUTES-IYIN, Mr. Oluwole Dada, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gbenga Aribisala, also received the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, Prof. Sola Akinrinade, who paid a goodwill visit to the institution.
Prof. Akinrinade commended the Registrar for his administrative competence and contributions to institutional development, describing him as well-suited to his role. Both officials had previously worked together during the formative years of Osun State University.
The engagement provided an opportunity for reflection on shared professional experiences and reinforced long-standing relationships within the academic community.
Also present at the event was the University Librarian, Prof. Isaac Oluwadare Busayo.
In his remarks, the Registrar expressed appreciation to the FUOYE delegation for the visit, noting that such engagements strengthen institutional ties and promote the exchange of ideas. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering partnerships that enhance administrative efficiency and support overall institutional growth.

Responding, Mrs. Adeniyi expressed gratitude to her former colleagues for the show of support, noting that her experience at FUOYE played a pivotal role in shaping her professional capacity. She said the exposure and discipline gained at the institution prepared her for the responsibilities of her current role.
