The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna), is set to host its 123rd Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, 26th March 2026.

Titled “Reviving the Comatose Arteries and Blood of the Nigerian Economy: An Inescapable Route to Sustainable National Development,” the lecture will be delivered by Joel Ademola Ojekunle, a distinguished Professor of Logistics and Transport Technology. The event will commence at 10:00 a.m. at the 1000-seater Capacity Auditorium, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano.

Prof. Ojekunle’s academic journey includes a B.Sc from the University of Benin, and both an M.Sc and Ph.D from the University of Ilorin. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT) and a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration (CIOTA) and the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (MNITP).

The Vice-Chancellor of FUTMinna, Faruk Adamu Kuta, will serve as the Chairman of the Occasion. Prof. Kuta holds a B.Sc from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, an M.Tech from FUTMinna, and a Ph.D from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
