Gombe State University DVCs, Dean of Students' Affairs Participate in TETFund Leadership Programme
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Danladi Mohammed Umar, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Rasheed Abdulganiy, and the Dean of Students' Affairs, Professor Isaac O. Ediba, represented Gombe State University at the two-day Leadership and Executive Intelligence Programme organised by TETFund at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos State.
The programme, which brought together Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Deans of Students' Affairs from selected Nigerian universities, provided a strategic platform for intellectual engagement, leadership renewal, and the exchange of innovative ideas on contemporary university governance.
Designed to strengthen the competence and managerial capacities of principal and management officers, the programme exposed participants to emerging trends in executive intelligence, transformational leadership, value addition, productivity enhancement, and the evolving demands of 21st-century higher education administration.
Renowned experts from the public and private sectors delivered insightful presentations, sharing practical experiences and visionary strategies aimed at repositioning Nigerian universities for greater institutional effectiveness and global competitiveness.
The TETFund initiative explains the Universities commitment to building a new generation of visionary university leaders equipped with the knowledge, character, and executive capacity to respond to the rapidly changing landscape of higher education.
