Governor Fintiri Supports NYSC Corps Members with Food Donation

In a gesture of goodwill, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has donated food items to Batch A Stream I NYSC corps members at the Damare camp.

The donation, made on April 26, 2025, includes 10 cows, 10 jerrycans of vegetable oil, and 50 bags of rice

This initiative underscores Governor Fintiri's commitment to the welfare of NYSC corps members serving in Adamawa State. The state government already provides a monthly allowance of ₦20,000 to corps members, in addition to other benefits.

NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Osoroh Caroline Chinedu, expressed gratitude to the governor for his support, noting its positive impact on both corps members and camp officials. The gesture has been described as ushering in "Fresh Air" for the corps members.

Governor Fintiri has demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of residents in Adamawa State through various initiatives. Recently, he launched the Agricultural Programme for Poverty Alleviation and Climate Change Adaptation (APPACCA) to boost food production and security in the state .
