GwalamejiNews, Current, Ex-Students of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Donates to Grand View Lodge Attack Victims

In a show of solidarity, GwalamejiNews, in collaboration with some current and former students of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, has donated token of food items and a cash token to students affected by the recent armed robbery at Grand View Lodge. 

Recall that GwalamejiNews earlier reported that armed robbers attacked the lodge, resulting in the loss of valuable items including food items, shoes, phones, laptops, cloths, trousers, among other valuables. 

To support the affected students, GwalamejiNews and its partners initiated a donation drive. 

In a statement, the management expressed their condolences to the victims, acknowledging the distress and disruption caused by the incident.

"We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred at Grand View Lodge, where several rooms were burglarized and valuable items belonging to students were stolen. 

On behalf of GwalamejiNews and its team, we extend our sincerest condolences to those affected. We understand the distress and disruption this incident has caused.

We are providing a sum of N6,000 along with some food items to help alleviate the immediate impact of this incident." Part of the statement sent to the victims read. 

The donation which was confirmed by one of the students who is also an occupant, expressed gratitude for the support. 

"Yes, we have received the items and we appreciate you all. Thank you," she said happily.
