Heads of UNIMAID Affiliated Institutions Pay Courtesy Visit to VC Ahead of Board Meeting

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, on *6th July, 2026*, received the heads of the University's affiliated institutions on a courtesy visit ahead of the Affiliated Colleges Board Meeting.  

The delegation was led by the Director of Affiliated Colleges, Professor Mohammed Munkaila, who briefed the Vice-Chancellor on the purpose of the visit and the forthcoming board meeting.  

Welcoming the delegation, Professor Mele expressed confidence in the University’s affiliated institutions and commended their contributions to the delivery of quality higher education. He charged the heads of the institutions to continue upholding academic standards and best practices in knowledge delivery.  

The Vice-Chancellor also wished the participants fruitful deliberations during the board meeting and encouraged them to engage in constructive discussions on strategies for improving undergraduate programmes across their respective institutions.
