Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Receives N122.9 Million for Student Loan Program

The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) has acknowledged receipt of N122,966,000 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support 2,375 students under the student loan program.

In a letter to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NELF, the Acting Vice Chancellor of IBBU, Prof. Hassan Ibrahim, expressed appreciation for the scheme, which aims to increase access to higher education for Nigerian students.

The university commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the NELF management for their efforts in providing financial support to students. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards promoting education and empowering young Nigerians.
