Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) and JIBWIS College of Education, Keffi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration, promote research development, and enhance institutional growth.

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) and JIBWIS College of Education, Keffi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration, promote research development, and enhance institutional growth.

The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at NSUK, bringing together principal officers from both institutions.

Representing JIBWIS College of Education were the Deputy Chairman of the College’s Governing Council, Alhaji Mu’azu Ishaq, mni; Provost, Hafiz Dr. Shehu Ibrahim Ahmad; Registrar, Alhaji Suleiman Auwalu; Chief Imam, Imam Abubakar Said Ahmad; and Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Bankole. NSUK was represented by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman; Registrar, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Halima Aliyu Doma-Kutigi; and Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor, Muhammad D. Nasiru.

The MoU establishes a framework for mutual cooperation in academic programmes, research initiatives, staff development, and student growth. Leaders of both institutions expressed optimism that the partnership will foster innovation, improve quality assurance, and strengthen institutional capacities.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in the collective vision of NSUK and JIBWIS College of Education to deliver accessible, high-quality, and sustainable education that contributes meaningfully to national development.
