Kaduna State Polytechnic Releases Full 2025/2026 Academic Calendar for Regular and Evening Programmes

Kaduna Polytechnic has formally released the provisional academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, covering all Regular and Evening programmes including NDI, NDII, HNDI, HNDII, KPT-Diploma, NCE, B.Tech, PGD, and PHC.

The new session will run from Monday, 5 January 2026 to Friday, 9 October 2026, with the next academic year scheduled to begin on Monday, 4 January 2027.

Key Dates for First/Third Semester

• Session begins: Monday, 5 January 2026
• Registration (New & Returning Students): 5 January – 30 January 2026
• Late Registration (with penalty): 2 February – 13 February 2026
• Lectures begin: 12 January 2026
• Lectures end: 17 April 2026
• Matriculation & Orientation: 11 February 2026

Continuous Assessment and Exams (First/Third Semester)

• First CA: 16 February – 20 February 2026
• Second CA: 30 March – 3 April 2026
• Placement of CA scores: 13 April – 17 April 2026
• Exam timetables & exam card processing: 20 April – 24 April 2026
• Examinations: 27 April – 8 May 2026

Breaks and Academic Activities

• Semester Break: 11 May – 12 June 2026
