Kaduna State University Receives Donation of Specialized Microscopes

Kaduna State University (KASU) has received a generous donation of five specialized Nikon binocular microscopes from Dr. Ezekiel Musa, a Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine and staff member of the University currently working in the United Kingdom.

The donation was presented on August 6, 2025, at the Vice Chancellor's conference room, and was facilitated by Dr. Muhammad Kabiru, a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at KASU.

The Vice Chancellor expressed appreciation for the donation, highlighting its importance in strengthening the University's academic and research capacity. The microscopes will be used in several departments within the College of Medicine, including Physiology, Anatomy, Pathology, and Internal Medicine, boosting teaching, research, and clinical practice.
