Kano State Polytechnic Honors Outgoing Deputy Rector Dr. Muhammad Umar Kibiya

In recognition of the significant contributions made by the Deputy Rector to the development of Kano State Polytechnic, the Management, led by the Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, FCA, organized a brief send-forth ceremony today, Thursday, 4th December 2025, to honor the outgoing Deputy Rector, Dr. Muhammad Umar Kibiya, whose tenure concluded on this date.

In his opening remarks, the Rector lauded Dr. Kibiya as a man of integrity and dedication, who devoted his entire career to the service of the Polytechnic. He emphasized that Dr. Kibiya’s exemplary commitment and leadership qualities have set a standard that will continue to inspire staff and students alike within and beyond the Institution. The Rector extended the management’s heartfelt appreciation and best wishes for Dr. Kibiya’s future endeavors.

The Registrar, Mukhtar Ibrahim Bello, along with other Directors present at the event, commended Dr. Kibiya’s professionalism, collaborative spirit, and transformative impact on the Polytechnic’s academic and administrative functions.

They recounted their positive experiences working with him and acknowledged his instrumental role in advancing the Institution’s vision.
