Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, KHAIRUN, on Friday, 18th July, 2026, successfully convened its 13th Governing Council Meeting, reaffirming its commitment to excellence, transparency, and progressive leadership.

The meeting, chaired by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Kabiru Isyaku, brought together Council members and Principal Officers of the University to deliberate on strategic issues aimed at consolidating KHAIRUN's position as one of Nigeria's leading private universities.

The meeting further considered several academic and administrative matters aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving governance, and advancing the University's long-term strategic objectives.

Reaffirming its commitment, the Council pledged to continue providing sound policy direction and strategic oversight that will sustain the University's rapid progress while ensuring the provision of a world-class learning environment. The Council emphasized the goal of nurturing graduates who are not only academically outstanding but also morally upright, professionally competent, and equipped to make meaningful contributions to national and global development.
