KHAIRUN Hosts NUC Team for SIWES Resource Verification

During the exercise, the NUC Team Leader, Mal. Ashafa Ladan, conveyed greetings from the NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abdullahi Musa, to the Vice-Chancellor and university management. He commended KHAIRUN’s leadership for its commitment to academic development and explained that the verification aimed to assess the university’s readiness and eligibility for inclusion in the Industrial Training Fund (ITF)-SIWES sponsorship scheme.
In his remarks, Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the university, emphasizing its status as a science-based institution with a focus on practical, industry-oriented training. He highlighted the operational SIWES office, equipped with facilities to effectively coordinate the programme.
At the exit meeting, the NUC team commended the university for its level of development, particularly noting the well-equipped SIWES office and overall campus standards.
Professor Garba expressed appreciation for the NUC’s professional guidance and assured that all recommendations would be addressed to meet NUC standards, reinforcing KHAIRUN’s commitment to academic excellence and institutional growth.
