KHAIRUN Receives Operational License from NUC in Historic Handover Ceremony

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), has officially received its operational license from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in a symbolic handover ceremony. The event marks a significant milestone in the university's history, highlighting its commitment to academic excellence and moral values.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, expressed gratitude to Allah for this achievement, noting the NUC's validation visit in April 2025 commended KHAIRUN for its excellent infrastructure, environment, and preparedness. The Pro-Chancellor, Professor Kabiru Isyaku, emphasized that the license presentation is just the beginning, as NUC will return later for the university's accreditation exercise.

The certificate was handed over from the Vice-Chancellor to the Pro-Chancellor, then to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and finally to the Director of the Proprietors' Office.
