Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Strengthens Ties with Sheikh Muhammad Rabiu Foundation Schools, Gorondutse

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by its Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, paid a courtesy visit to the Sheikh Muhammad Rabiu Foundation Schools, Gorondutse, on Wednesday, 12th November, 2025.

The visit aimed to reaffirm brotherhood and strengthen family ties, highlighting the shared foundational background and vision of both institutions. Professor Garba expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the opportunity to undertake the long-planned visit and commended Malam Rabiu Shamma, Schools Coordinator and Deputy Director, Proprietor’s Office at KHAIRUN, for his contributions to fostering collaboration between the university and the Foundation Schools.

Professor Garba emphasized KHAIRUN’s commitment to upholding and advancing the legacy of the late Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu, whose vision continues to inspire both institutions. During the visit, he toured classrooms, engaged with students, offered encouragement, and prayed for their success.

In response, Malam Rabiu Shamma expressed profound joy and appreciation, noting the importance of stronger collaboration in areas such as staff and student training between the Foundation Schools and KHAIRUN.

The visit further strengthened the bond between the two institutions, reflecting their shared mission of promoting quality education grounded in moral and Islamic values.
