 On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, the Management of Kogi State University, Kabba held a meeting with Tyresoles, a private investment company, to discuss a proposed Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement for the development of a 5,000-bed capacity hostel on the university's premises.

The meeting, attended by Investor Al Mustapha Muhammad, representing Tyresoles, highlighted the company's commitment to collaborating with the university to create a unique and conducive living environment for students. The proposed hostel is designed to be smart, safe, and drug-free, prioritizing students' safety, well-being, and academic success.
