LASU Opens CIPR Annex at Epe Campus to Strengthen Communication and Public Relations Services

Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced operations of the Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR) Annex at its Epe Campus as part of efforts to improve communication services, enhance information flow and ensure effective coverage of official activities across the University’s campuses.

Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced operations of the Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR) Annex at its Epe Campus as part of efforts to improve communication services, enhance information flow and ensure effective coverage of official activities across the University’s campuses.

The establishment of the CIPR Annex was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, as an extension of the existing CIPR at the University’s Main Campus, Ojo.

According to the University, the new office is designed to bring public relations services closer to stakeholders at the Epe Campus, improve efficiency in communication support and provide timely media and public relations interventions for official events and engagements.

Members of the University community have been encouraged to utilise the services of the CIPR Annex for communication-related needs connected to official activities taking place at the Epe Campus.

To ensure proper coordination and effective service delivery, all Schools, Faculties, Centres, Directorates, Departments, Units and Offices at the Ojo and Ikeja Campuses organising official programmes at the Epe Campus are required to forward requests for CIPR services directly to the Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations.

Similarly, offices and units located at the Epe Campus requiring CIPR support for official activities are expected to submit their requests to the CIPR Annex, Epe Campus, where such requests will be processed in line with approved University procedures.

The University advised that all requests for CIPR services should be submitted at least 72 hours before the scheduled activity to allow adequate planning and coordination.

LASU stated that the initiative reflects its commitment to strengthening institutional communication, improving service delivery and ensuring that activities across its campuses receive effective public relations support.
