The Lagos State University (LASU) has been commended for its commitment to digital integrity in education. A recent visit by the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Certificate Racketeering acknowledged LASU's fully digitalized academic processes, which ensure transparency and authenticity.

The university's certificates can be verified instantly through a unique QR code, and its integration with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal and mandatory use of National Identification Numbers (NIN) further enhance identity verification.

The Committee praised LASU's cutting-edge verification system and robust digital frameworks, describing it as a model for other Nigerian institutions. A live test of a sample certificate was successfully verified through the University's QR authentication platform, demonstrating confidence in LASU's system.
