LAUTECH Receives Ultra-Modern Bakery From Alhaji Monsur Ejide

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has received an ultra-modern bakery built and handed over by renowned business magnate and community leader, Alhaji Monsur Ejide.

The brief but well-attended commissioning ceremony held this morning featured dignitaries including Chief Imam Dr. Taliat Ayilara. Speaking at the event, Ejide expressed his fulfillment in supporting institutions in Ogbomoso, noting that another project at LAUTECH is set to commence in two weeks.

The Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, commended the donation and emphasised the university’s commitment to recognising acts of goodwill. He urged affluent Nigerians to channel support to educational institutions, stressing that government efforts alone are insufficient to meet all developmental needs.

The new bakery is expected to enhance practical training for students while contributing to the university’s entrepreneurial and food technology initiatives.
