LAWSAN-UDUS to Host Intra-Faculty Football Tournament in Honour of Dean

The Law Students' Association of Nigeria, Usmanu Danfodiyo University (LAWSAN-UDUS), Sokoto chapter, is organizing an intra-faculty football tournament to honour the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor A.S.R. Matazu.

According to Mas'ud Adamu, the association's sports director, participants are required to register by paying a fee of ₦10,000 before September 11, 2024. The tournament is scheduled to commence on November 14, 2024, at the school stadium.

In an interview, Adamu emphasized the importance of the competition in fostering interpersonal relationships and social harmony within the faculty. He noted that the tournament has been a tradition in the faculty and aims to bring together students from different levels and departments.

The competition is expected to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among law students, while also providing a platform for socialization and networking.
