Lead City University Hosts NYSC Pre-Orientation Session with Oyo State Officials
Lead City University recently hosted a pre-orientation session with officials from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), including Mr. Abel Oche Odoba, the NYSC Coordinator for Oyo State. The session aimed to prepare students for their upcoming NYSC service.
Lead City University had the honor of welcoming esteemed officials from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for an enlightening pre-orientation session. Mr. Abel Oche Odoba, the NYSC Coordinator for Oyo State, Mrs. Margaret M. Omaji, Assistant Director of Deployment & Relocation, and Ms. Ada Peace Izuegbu, Head of ICT, Oyo State, graced the event with their presence.

The session, attended by university staff including Dr. Olusoji Adeogun, Deputy Registrar for Quality Control/Admission, Mrs. Adejobi, Head of Marketing, Mr. Damola Onaolapo, Barr. Dolapo Adaramodu, P.A. to the State Coordinator, and Mr. Abraham Adeyinka, Protocol Officer to the State Coordinator, aimed to prepare students for their upcoming NYSC service.
Mr. Abel Oche Odoba, in his address, highlighted the founding principles of NYSC and commended Lead City University for consistently producing exceptional graduates. He emphasized the importance of character development alongside academic achievements, stating, “Charisma without character is calamity.”
Insights into NYSC camp deployment and documentation were provided by Mrs. Margaret M. Omaji, while Ms. Ada Peace Izuegbu emphasized the significance of error-free registration to ensure a smooth NYSC experience for students.
