FUTA Secures Full Accreditation for Eighteen Academic Programmes from NUC

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation status to eighteen academic programmes at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), following a rigorous assessment conducted between October and November 2023. This accreditation, effective from the 2023/2024 academic session, aligns with the institution's adherence to the Core Curriculum Minimum Academic Standard (CCMAS).

Engineer Abraham Chundusu, Acting Director of Accreditation at NUC, conveyed the accreditation results to FUTA's Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji. He underscored the NUC's mandate to set and enforce minimum academic standards for all Nigerian universities under the Education (National Minimum Standard and Establishment of Institutions) Act.
