UDUS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bashir Garba Visits UDUTH, Offers Condolences Over Loss of Two Medical Students

Prof. Bashir Garba, the Vice Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), on January 17, 2026, visited the school’s teaching hospital (UDUTH) following the loss of Abdulwahab Adedayo Balogun and Hassan Umar Ishola: students the College of Health Sciences.
Prof. Bashir received by Abubakar Abdullahi Ibrahim, UDUMSA President, among many others, offered his heartfelt condolences to friends, colleagues, and the university community over the saddening incident.
He further prayed that Allah grants the departed students eternal rest and gives the university community the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
