The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), through the Office of the Director of Sports, Comrade Bolarinwa David Holla, has officially released the schedule for the upcoming trials for the university’s male and female football teams.
All interested students are invited to participate and are expected to be punctual while adhering strictly to the specified dress code to ensure a smooth and professional screening process.
Trial Schedule:
Female Football Team
- Dates: January 26 – February 6, 2026
- Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Time: 4:00 PM Prompt
- Venue: NASS Football Pitch
Male Football Team
- Date: January 30, 2026 (with subsequent trials on the last Friday of every month)
- Time: 6:00 AM Prompt
- Venue: University Stadium
Required Attire for Participants:
- Blue Jersey
- Black Shorts
- Long Socks
- Boots and Shin Pads
