The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has announced a one-week extension for the physical screening exercise of all newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The exercise will now conclude on Friday, 23rd January, 2026.
The extension is intended to allow the University to forward the Matriculation Lists of all newly admitted students to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), in accordance with the 2025/2026 Admission Guidelines.

All candidates offered provisional admission via UTME or Direct Entry who have not yet accepted their admission on the JAMB Portal are strongly advised to do so on or before Wednesday, 21st January, 2026, and subsequently complete the screening process before the new deadline.
Candidates are reminded that failure to accept admission and complete the screening to obtain their Matriculation Number will result in the forfeiture of their admission for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. Until all admission requirements are fulfilled, candidates remain prospective students and not bonafide students of DELSU.
All candidates who have yet to present themselves for screening are urged to take advantage of this extension and complete the exercise within the stipulated period.
