Lead City University Secures Full Nursing Accreditation, Expands Admission Quota

Lead City University has announced that its Faculty of Nursing Science has been granted full accreditation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), following an evaluation visit conducted on February 10, 2026.

In addition to the accreditation, the university confirmed a 100 per cent increase in its admission quota for the nursing programme—an outcome that significantly expands access for prospective students seeking professional training in the healthcare sector.

The accreditation signals that the programme meets the regulatory standards required for nursing education in Nigeria, covering critical benchmarks such as curriculum quality, faculty strength, infrastructure, and clinical training capacity.
