Lens University Announces Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari MFR As Chancellor

Lens University Ilemona has announced Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari MFR as Chancellor of the institution on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Ambassador Yahaya Seriki, a renowned philanthropist and CEO, Kursi Group was announced as the Chancellor of Lens University by the founder, Dr. Azeez Yisa FCA at the venue of the Yahaya Seriki Empowerment Enterprise Colloquium held at ARCA Centre, Ilorin, Kwara State.

As contained in the appointment letter dated 30th October 2026 and signed by Dr. Yisa Azeez FCA, the appointment is in recognition of Amb. Yahaya Seriki's leadership qualities, distinguished public service, wealth of experience, and anticipated contributions to the advancement of higher education and institutional development. 

Amb. Yahaya Seriki Gambari MFR embraced the Lens University Governing Council, management, staff and students and accepted the position of the chancellor as he empowers Kwarans with cash and material gifts estimated at ₦4.2 billion.
