According to the Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Emmanuel Nwankwo, the hospital team successfully removed a dangerous blood clot from an elderly patient’s brain, restoring his health and mobility. In another case, the team carried out a life-saving decompressive craniotomy on a patient with severe brain swelling following a stroke, preventing further damage and aiding recovery.
Dr. Nwankwo emphasized that these breakthroughs reflect the expertise, dedication, and teamwork of neurosurgeons, anaesthetists, and support staff.
