Man Arrested After Disguising as Woman to Enter Female Hostel at IBB University

A male student of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), has been arrested after disguising himself as a woman in an attempt to gain access to one of the university’s female hostels. 

The incident, which occurred on campus, caused a commotion among students before security personnel intervened and apprehended the suspect. 

Eyewitnesses reported that the student had dressed in women’s clothing and tried to slip into the hostel unnoticed, but his suspicious behavior attracted attention, leading to his arrest by the university’s security team. 

After being taken to the security office for questioning, the student was later released following interrogation. 

A viral video from the scene showed him still dressed in female attire as he was escorted away on a motorcycle, while some angry male students attempted to confront him. 

In response to claims that the viral footage was fake, campus media outlet @Ibbul Air TV clarified: “If you don’t know something, ask questions. 

They brought him from the hostel to the security office, questioned him, and later released him. He wasn’t arrested on a bike as some people are claiming.”
