Meet ATBU Alumnus Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, A Trailblazer in Nigeria Tech Ecosystem

Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, a distinguished alumnus of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU), has made a significant impact in Nigeria's technology sector.

As the Director-General and CEO of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Abdullahi has been instrumental in driving the country's digital transformation agenda.

Abdullahi's academic background in computer science from ATBU laid the foundation for his illustrious career. He has built on this foundation with numerous executive certificates from prestigious institutions, including Harvard University, University of Cambridge, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Abdullahi's professional journey is marked by excellence and dedication. He began his career as a network engineer and senior network and lead solution architect at Galaxy Backbone Ltd. He later joined the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a Technology Architect, where he contributed to the development of the CBN Technology Architecture Repository (TAR) and executed software license rationalization.
