Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), is celebrating the extraordinary academic achievement of Esther Omosowone, who emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the 2025 academic session.
Esther achieved a stellar First Class Honours in Political Science and Government, finishing with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.58 out of 5.00.
Esther’s accomplishment is particularly historic as she was the sole First Class graduate from the entire Faculty of Social Sciences—a faculty with a student population exceeding one thousand. Her success stands as a testament to her resilience and intellectual rigour in a highly competitive academic environment.
Beyond her grades, Esther contributed to the academic discourse on gender and governance with her final-year research project titled: “The Influence of Affirmative Action Policy on Appointive Political Positions in Ondo State (2016–2024).” Her work provides critical insights into the practical application of gender policies in regional politics.
