At just 21 years old, Oyewale Malik Tomilola graduated with a First Class degree in B.Tech Biochemistry, finishing with an exceptional CGPA of 4.52 from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

But behind this academic excellence lies a deeper story — one of resilience, discipline, and a mother's unwavering support.

Raised with values of hard work and faith, Malik didn’t just aim for success — he earned it, one lecture, one exam, and one prayer at a time. Through sleepless nights and countless challenges, his mother stood by him — praying, encouraging, and making sacrifices so her son could reach heights she only dreamed of.

Her silent strength became his loudest motivation.

Malik’s brilliance didn’t go unnoticed. He became a three-time scholar, honored by the LAUTECH Muslim Graduates Association (LAUMGA) for his outstanding academic performance. Year after year, he rose to the top:Best 300 Level Muslim Student in Biochemistry (2021/2022),Best 400 Level Muslim Student in Biochemistry (2022/2023),Best Graduating Muslim Student in Biochemistry (2023/2024) – Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
