Modibbo Adama University Expands with New Faculties and Degree Programmes
Programmes such as Mass Communication, Broadcasting, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence will be available to students.
Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) has introduced three new faculties and 18 degree programmes, enhancing its academic offerings.
The new faculties include the Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Computing, designed to meet the growing demand for specialized education in these fields. Programmes such as Mass Communication, Broadcasting, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence will be available to students.
In addition to these academic expansions, MAUTECH has secured major infrastructural advancements, including a World Bank-funded Artificial Insemination Centre (AIC) aimed at improving animal husbandry and food production. The Federal Government has also approved funding for infrastructure development, including a 40,000-litre industrial borehole.
These initiatives reflect the university's commitment to academic excellence and innovation, providing students with new opportunities to develop essential skills in evolving fields.
