Modibbo Adama University VC Celebrates Eid with Staff, Provides Meat for Students

The Vice Chancellor of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, Professor Ibrahim Umar, was warmly visited by university staff at his residence to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

This marked a significant moment of unity and joy as the staff rejoiced with the VC on the occasion of his first Eid-el-Kabir celebration in office.

During the visit, Prof. Umar reflected on his life and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the university. He pledged to dedicate his leadership to fostering unity and building the institution to greater heights.

In a separate initiative, the Vice Chancellor arranged for the slaughtering of cows to provide meat for university students who remained on campus during the Sallah break. This gesture, facilitated through the Dean of Students Affairs, is a first in the university's history and demonstrates the administration's commitment to student welfare.
