Modibbo Adama University Yola Medical Students Receive Continued Scholarship Support from Ngeagle Airline Chairman
The Modibbo Adama University Yola has benefited from the continued educational support of Alhaji Abdullahi Ahmed, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ngeagle Airline, who has extended his scholarship scheme to twenty medical students at the College of Medical Sciences.

A total of Five Million Nine Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira ₦5,930,000 was paid into the University’s account to cover tuition, registration, accommodation, feeding, and other related charges as the students progress into 200 Level.
Presenting the cheque to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Rukaiyatu Bashir Ribadu, the Managing Director of Ngeagle Airline emphasized that the initiative forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility, aimed at strengthening education and supporting the training of future medical professionals.

Receiving the cheque, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibrahim Umar commended Alhaji Abdullahi Ahmed for his consistent support, noting that this is not his first contribution to the University. He highlighted past donations, including ₦3 million to the Department of Political Science in 2024 and sponsorship of a senior University Professor to attend an international conference in Lusaka, Zambia, describing Alhaji Abdullahi Ahmed as a reliable partner in the growth and development of the institution.
