An activist from Itsekiri in the Warri Kingdom, Delta State, known as ‘Lord Of Warri,’ shared the heartbreaking news on X.com, highlighting the severe impact of the tragedy on Princess Emiko. "She lies hospitalized in a coma, overcome with unbearable pain and sorrow," he wrote, emphasizing the profound bond between a mother and her child.

The activist has also called upon the Oyo State government, the Oyo State Police, and Governor Seyi Makinde to ensure justice for Alex Timileyin. He urged these authorities to hold those responsible for the young man's death accountable. "Let us rally around Princess Antonia with our thoughts and prayers, seeking comfort and strength for her in this darkest hour," he added.

The tragic event occurred on Friday, May 31, inside a university hostel, leading to the arraignment of twenty-five students aged 18 to 34. These individuals were presented before the Chief Magistrate Court on Wednesday and have been remanded in prison until July 8, pending trial.
