NAF Officers Excel at National Defence College Course 33 Graduation

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has congratulated the graduands of National Defence College (NDC) Course 33, held on August 22, 2025, in Abuja. The graduation ceremony marked the successful completion of an intensive 11-month program at Nigeria's apex military training institution.

Group Captain DU Edet won the Senate President's Award and the CAS Award for the Best Research Paper on Air Operations, while Group Captain O Ige secured the Brazilian Award for the Best Research Paper in Science and Technology.

The CAS lauded the NAF officers for sustaining the Service's tradition of excellence, describing their achievements as evidence of the Service's continued investment in human capacity development. He also extended appreciation to their families for their support.

The performance of the NAF participants at NDC Course 33 reaffirms the Service's commitment to nurturing leaders of intellect, courage, and strategic foresight. This aligns with the NAF's vision of developing a highly professional and agile air force capable of effectively meeting Nigeria's defense and security needs.
