The leadership of the National Association of Jigawa State Students (NAJISS) at the Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences, Hadejia Campus, has assured Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi of their commitment to peace and non-participation in the nationwide student protest scheduled for July 29, 2024.

In a letter addressed to the governor, Senator Usman Isah Muhammad, President of NAJISS, emphasized that students from the Hadejia Campus will not take part in the protest. The letter highlighted the governor's efforts in providing a supportive environment for students, particularly through the appointment of a dedicated Special Assistant on Student Affairs, as a testament to his commitment to their welfare.
