Nasarawa State University VC Receives Gen. Buratai, Former Chief of Army Staff

Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, welcomed Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd), former Chief of Army Staff and Chairman of the Tukur Buratai Research Centre (TBRC), to the university.

Gen. Buratai, accompanied by Professor Mohammed Kyari, Vice-Chancellor of Nigerian Army University, Biu, and Brigadier-General Sani Usman Kuka-Sheka (Rtd), Secretary of TBRC, congratulated Prof. Liman on her appointment as the 5th substantive Vice-Chancellor of NSUK. He offered prayers for divine wisdom and guidance as she leads the university.

The visit focused on the ongoing collaboration between the Institute for Governance and Development Studies and TBRC, exploring ways to expand their Memorandum of Understanding. The highlight of the visit was a tour of the nearly completed Institute of Governance and Development Studies and an exchange of souvenirs.
