Prof. James M. Okuo, coordinator of the B.Sc. Chemistry accreditation team, noted that the evaluation focused on both theoretical knowledge and practical sessions, emphasizing that science education requires hands-on laboratory experience. During the equipment inspection, the Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Musa Runde, demonstrated the functionality of key laboratory instruments, including fire extinguishers, colouring makers, and V-visible spectrophotometers.

The accreditation exercises aim to ensure the programmes meet NUC standards, enhancing academic quality and the overall student learning experience at NOUN Lagos Study Centre.
