NDPC and NSUK Sign MoU to Strengthen Data Protection and Privacy
The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) and Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing institutional collaboration on data protection and privacy within the University and extending its impact beyond campus.
The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) and Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing institutional collaboration on data protection and privacy within the University and extending its impact beyond campus.

The MoU was signed during a visit by Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, and other university officials to the NDPC, where they were received by Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of NDPC.
Professor Liman highlighted that the agreement builds on the existing collaboration between the two institutions and reaffirmed NSUK’s commitment to being a pacesetter among Nigerian tertiary institutions in advancing data protection and privacy.

Dr. Olatunji commended NSUK for its proactive approach to data protection, noting that the partnership would strengthen human capital development and awareness initiatives. An implementation committee has been established to oversee the execution of the MoU and ensure tangible outcomes from the collaboration.
