Neuroscience Society of Nigeria Visits LAUTECH VC Ahead of Advanced Imaging Conference

Members of the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria (NSN) paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, on the sidelines of their national conference.

The delegation was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategy and Development), Professor Tunde Ogunkunle, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.

The visit preceded the society’s scientific conference themed, "Seeing the Unseeable: Advanced Neuroimaging Biomarkers for Early Prediction and Tracking of Neurodegeneration." The event gathers experts to discuss cutting-edge imaging technologies aimed at identifying and monitoring brain-related diseases before clinical symptoms appear.

Professor Ogunkunle welcomed the scientists to the university, noting that the theme of the conference is timely and aligns with LAUTECH's commitment to supporting high-level research and technological advancement in the medical sciences.
