New Federal University of Agriculture Set to Launch in October

The Federal University of Agriculture and Development Studies (FUADSI) in Iragbiji, Osun State, is expected to commence academic activities by October 2025.

According to the Federal Ministry of Education, the university is nearing readiness for student admissions.

A delegation from the Ministry, led by Mrs. Rakiya Ilyasu, Director of the University Education Department, recently inspected the university's facilities and expressed satisfaction with the progress made. The institution was approved earlier this year by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The university's launch is expected to provide more opportunities for students in the region and contribute to the development of agriculture and related fields.
